Let's get down to business
I think Mulan is the Disney princess I relate best with. I have an inherent drive to accomplish something worthwhile, but I don't necessarily fit the gender role that society imposes. I am a bit different, and I'm a late bloomer. I remember one of my MTC teachers told me in an evaluation how when I first showed up he didn't think I would be a good missionary. He went on to explain how when he actually saw me teach he realized that I was quite passionate about being a missionary and he saw that I really could be a good missionary, but it still bothered me. In VC training the last week I was in the MTC, one of my VC teachers told me that I wasn't "a cookie-cutter sister missionary", and that was a good thing. Looking back at my mission, I think I managed to serve as well as I'd hoped to.

This weekend, I saw my mission president. President Holmes is an inspired man. He knew exactly what to ask me about, and I think he did the same for Sister Doggett (who was with me). He reminded me of something I am supposed to be doing, and I've started working on it. I found something I care about, and I am going to do something about it.

I've got things to do to become who I want to be.

I loved your post! You were/still are a wonderful missionary. I love the way you're not a robot. That's what I strived to do my whole mission, "not be a robot". I love you!

What did Pres. Holmes ask you??? I wish to know :) Love you!!!!

I agree - no one needs to be a cookie cutter. Be your own kind of beautiful! There is only one Becca Fluckiger, so be the best!
It is good to have goals and a "mission".
